Why Mali ?

Camel in Mali

The West African nation of Mali is one of the countries where CAMA-Africa is currently focused on relief and development work. Listed as the 3rd poorest country in the world its economic and spiritual needs are overwhelming.

Give to CAMA

There are several ways you can give to Compassion and Mercy Associates. Your support will help alleviate the spiritual and physical poverty that is widespread in Mali.

Transforming Communities

The desire of CAMA-Mali is to transform communities. By partnering with communities in Mali we are able to improve lives.

CAMA-Mali in partnership with the church’s relief and development structure (O.D.E.S) offer a broad range of interventions in areas such as education, microfinance, clean water, health and agriculture.

CONNECT! Partnership Opportunities

Food Banks

There is always a need for individuals to give towards the O.D.E.S food bank program. Each year they assist numerous families by providing them with grain at affordable prices during the critical months when their own grain supply has run out. Donated funds are also used on a case by case basis to help families who have no resources to buy grain even at a low cost rate.

Water Projects

Thanks to a gift from the Alliance Church of Menomonie and a matching gift from the Alliance ladies of Mali we have been able to begin the drilling for the Lydia Center well. Additional funds are still needed to complete the pump and water tower. Contact us if you are interested in supporting this project.
